First of all, I am happy for Puneet as he is going for his trip to London in couple of weeks. I don't remember what date he is flying. He told me though. Anyway, wish he have a good fruitful trip.
Secondly, yesterday I made some strange moves in terms of job application. I saw a position as 'Financial Risk Modeller'. The requirement mentioned was a degree in CS and knowledge of SQL. Mentioned salary was upto 81K and no professional work experience required. Bingo! I applied to this job, though had no idea about risk modelling in financial sector. But I fantasized that its gonna be Data Mining at the end. Today morning, I woke up and before I get out of my house heading Uni, got a call from that agency. He discussed my qualification satisfactorily. I didn't found any sort of deplomatic responses which we generally found when ppl want to say 'NO' or to avoid. But ofcourse, he said that his client would expect someone with a knowledge in financial sector as well. Because there's gonna be ppl with PhD in mathematics and with some financial background. I said, I don't have any financial background. There he left discussion for that client and started asking me in general, what I am looking for. I felt, he was showing some interest. He asked me to wait for a week. He said he will come up with other clients in energy sectors within a week as companies need ppl with these skills. I know agencies do such things. But it is just; indeed was a good feeling. Anyway too much details now.
Looking forward to have a great week ahead. By the way, I was walking on the street in city this afternoon where I saw this ad campaign mentioning 'Father's day' on 4th September. Suddenly a line came to my mind having a feel of my papa..
'If I am the LIGHT,
You are the SOURCE.
My Confidence, My Faith, My Passion.
Happy Father's Day'.

Once, I thought of messaging this to my papa on mobile, but then I thought I never talk such things. So, who cares.. just enjoy!
Have a good weekend.
